The number of daily COVID-19 infections is seeing a considerable decline recently in Kosovo. Citing data published by the National Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Health announced that after the results of 1.515 tests came back, only 7 citizens were confirmed to have contracted the virus in the last 24 hours.
In addition, one death, attributed to COVID-19, was reported in the past 24 hours in Kosovo.
The total number of active cases recorded nationwide is currently at 2.044.
Authorities from the health ministry also announced that a total of 5.041 doses of the anti-COVID vaccines have been given out in the last 24 hours, whereas to date, 567.280 citizens have received both shots.
