The second protest against the rise of prices that have been blamed on the global energy crisis has been announced and it is set to take place this evening at 17:00. Demonstrators are called to assemble at the same location as the last rally, which was staged in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, at the ‘Deshmoret e Kombit’ boulevard.
The protest aims to oppose the rise in the price of basic food items, electricity, and fuel.
The first rally was organized last week, during which several citizens and personalities from public life voiced their concerns and insisted on having their opinions heard and democratic rights respected.
The Democratic Party has now joined the protest, as the party Chair, Lulzim Basha, had previously declared that DP would participate in all forms of civil resistance against the current SP-led government.
