Just a few moments ago, Albania was struck by a 4.8 magnitude earthquake.
The epicenter was recorded in Lezha, around 58 km northeast of Tirana, according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to information released by the Institute of Geosciences, the earthquake struck around 8:13 PM at a depth of 20 kilometers.
“According to a preliminary report from the National Agency of Civil Protection there are no reports of material damages so far”, announced defense minister Niko Peleshi.
