Satellites Albania 1 and Albania 2, which the government warned that will be launched into the orbit, will be ready by March and June respectively, revealed PM Edi Rama in a video released on his Facebook page.

PM Rama is heard talking to representatives of the company that is working on the project while showing an illustrative video of the space launch of Spacex Falcon 9.

“In March we will release Albania 1. We will record a video and after launch, we will see the satellites in the orbit”.

On Monday, PM Rama told Euronews Albania confirmed the country’s plan on the satellites.

“Albania 1 and Albania 2 will be in the orbit and will serve a lot to have a much more qualitative control of the territory”, Rama said.
