8 citizens lost their lives today in Albania, 6 of whom were in Tirana. The ministry of health conducted 3.934 tests, out of which 659 came back positive – almost half in the capital.
There are currently 146 patients receiving specialized treatment at one of the country’s COVID-designated hospitals, 16 of whom are exhibiting severe forms of the virus.
In addition, there’s a total of 6.397 known active cases nationwide, and a total of 543 were reported to have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of known recoveries to 170,217.
