Albania logged 650 new cases, more than half of what it recorded yesterday (264).

Eight people died from COVID-related complications taking the official toll to 2,888.

More than 182,600 citizens have tested positive to the virus since the beginning of the pandemic, although experts suggest that the figure may be higher.

Four citizens were admitted to the hospital over the course of the last day. In total, there are 158 patients receiving medical care, of which 14 in critical condition.

Vaccination rates have significantly slowed down in the past months, despite a quick jump start.

Currently, all citizens older than 16 can get the jab in the country, while +60 citizens can now get a booster dose.
