Albania received a batch of 117,000 Pfizer doses on Tuesday evening.
Prime Minister Edi Rama confirmed on Facebook that the delivery is part of a contract signed between the Albanian government and the vaccine manufacturer.
“Until now, we’ve received 2.496.960 COVID vaccines in order to continue without any interruption the ‘door-to-door’ vaccination campaign in order to protect the health and lives of citizens”, Rama wrote.
Albania received another supply of 117,000 Pfizer doses on October 19.
