The head of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group announced that a special commission tasked to oversee the Electoral Reform will be established on Monday, calling on the Democratic Party to propose its representatives.
“The National Assembly is the setting where political dialogue takes place. I would like to express SP’s readiness, and willingness to dialogue and cooperate on issues not only linked to parliamentary proceedings, but reforms that must be pushed forward, is unsparing”, Balla declared.
According to him, the Democratic Party needs to be prepared ahead of Tuesday to discuss establishing the special commission as soon as possible.
Balla also emphasized that international allies have called for the adoption of the amendments by the end of this parliamentary session.
