Ambassador Yuri Kim declared that the United States will fully support the State Police with all means available.

Ambassador Kim pointed at equipment, training courses, and all forms of assistance requested by police authorities.

Ambassador Kim emphasized that together with Gledis Nano, the newly appointed chief of state police, they are strong supporters of the police figure and during their meeting had discussed enhancing their integrity and preserving public trust.

Kim concluded her word by emphasizing that the United States will continue to assure that the law in Albania is left untouched by external influences.

Meanwhile, police chief Gledis Nano clarified that the meeting was in line with the police’s agenda on cooperating with all US law enforcement agencies.

“As it is widely known, the United States is our strategic allie and have the police support in training courses, consistency, logistics, so I truly appreciate this cooperation and support, and assured the Ambassador that the State Police will be at its top performance level in fighting organized crime and corruption”, he said.
