Four citizens died over the past 24 hours taking the official death toll from the virus in Albania to 2,948.

631 citizens tested positive, while the total number of active cases across the country is estimated at around 7,827.

Currently, hospitalizations are at 167, of which 14 in serious condition.

In Albania, every citizen older than 16 can get the COVID-19 vaccine at the nearest vaccination site.

Also, children older than 12 suffering from underlying health conditions can get the jab upon recommendation from a physician.

Also, Albania began to administer booster doses for +65 citizens.

The positive case count is estimated at 187,994, while the number of citizens who have recovered is around 177,200.
