Foreign nationals can now get the COVID-19 vaccine in Kosovo, confirmed the ministry of health upon a recommendation from medical experts in the country.
Kosovo took the move to avoid rising figures, as expats usually flock to the country during the holiday season.
“The vaccination of foreign nationals is done to protect public health, in these time of the year when there is a great influx of citizens coming from abroad and when Kosovar institutions have the possibility to offer vaccines for all citizens of Kosovo or not”, the health ministry wrote.
The Ministry of Health also called on citizens to get the jab as soon as possible.
