“There is no free healthcare in our country, but the situation has improved thanks to Public-Private-Partnerships”, declared Socialist MP Klodiana Spahiu, responding to criticisms from opposition MP that Albanians are paying more to get health services.
“There is no free healthcare as every service offered to a citizen has a cost”, she declared.
Spahiu noted that a detailed analysis covering the entire health sector helped to fill in all cracks in the system in a very short time.
“This form of partnership, PPPs, gave us a considerable advantage in a very short time”, she said.
