A massive wildfire has broken out in the area of Maliq known as Mali i Thate or Dry Mountain.
According to the preliminary report, so far the fires have scored around 10 hectares of land.
20 fight fighting teams and forest experts at the Municipality of Maliq are currently joining in efforts to put out the flames. Rescue teams from the Municipality of Pustec have also joined and offered their help.
The fire is currently located at the peak of the mountain. If it continues on the other side, it risks moving into the National Park of Prespa.
