The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, announced that the Democrats had secured victory in five municipalities.
He said that the result proves that the people of Kosovo refuse the one-man-regime type of governance.
“The political arena of Kosovo has changed after these elections. There is no longer a dominant political; force like eight months ago. The people of Kosovo have turned their back on Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje because the people of Kosovo have turned their back to a model where a man rules it all”, said Krasniqi in front of a crowd of supporters in Prizren.
PDK’s leader proclaimed victory in Prizren, Drenas, Vushtrri, Kacanik, and Dragash.
Kosovo’s Vetevendosje only secured one out of the four large municipalities, namely Gjilan.
