About a quarter of Albanian citizens (23.6%) believe that Albania will never join the EU. More than half of them think that we will need at least another 15 years, if we were ever to become members of the block.
These were the results observed by Euronews Albania’s Barometer, in regards to the expectations of Albanian citizens, when it comes to the country’s EU integration.
Around 16% of the poll’s respondents believe in a quick integration, within the next 5 years, whereas about 30% think that it will happen within the next 10 years.
Data were recorded during a poll led by MRB and Data Centrum from October 20-29, 2021 that included 1.000 face-to-face interviews conducted at a national level.
