The ex commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army are disappointed with both Kosovo and Albania, declared former Ambassador of Kosovo to Albania, Nait Hasani.
“The state institutions of Kosovo, but Albania’s also, haven’t questioned why the former commanders are being held in a pre-detention center for so long,” Hasani said.
The former ambassador said that their detention for more than a year, without actually proving the charges, is a breach of the law.
Less than a week ago, went to The Hague to visit Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi at the pretrial detention center they’re being held at and said to have seen in their eyes “innocence” and “sacrifice”.
The Specialist Prosecutor’s Office charged Thaci, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selimi on war crimes against the civilian population during and after the Kosovo War.
