“Kosovo has respected and used the common Alphabet Book, as decided by the two countries a few years ago”, declared Kosovo’s education minister Arberie Nagavci on Good Morning.

She reiterated that the agreement has only been breached from Albania’s side.

“The move was launched a few years ago, and it determined that we will work with a common Alphabet Book. In Kosovo we respected that, we used the text for a long time”, said minister Nagavci.

“From what I am aware of, not all schools during that time used the same ABC Book”, she added.

Meanwhile, Nagavci also confirmed that a visit to Presheva was turned down by Serbian authorities.

“An official response from Serbia was sent to us just a few minutes before our departure on November 27. The answer was very brief: Unfortunately, your permission to visit was turned down. We will consider your request in another case”, said Kosovo’s education minister.
