DP chair, Lulzim Basha replied to the accusations made in his address by former DP leader, Sali Berisha, who said from tonight’s ‘Pulpit tour’ meeting that the current DP chair is connected to the infamous case known as ‘Toyota Yaris’.
Through a post on social media, Basha called Berisha’s accusations a clear example of ‘fake news’ and ‘slander’.
According to him, there is only one case file and that is Berisha’s ‘non grata’ case brought up by the United States.
“This is the case that is forcing Sali Berisha to stoop so low with the hopes of turning DP into his own protective shield. There’s nothing lower than to use Democrats and their sensitivity as your frontline soldiers for your own personal interest,” – said Basha.
During tonight’s Pulpit tour meeting in Bilisht, former PM Sali Berisha spoke about the ‘Toyota Yaris’ case. He said that in the past, he has asked Basha for answers regarding this operation.
