One citizen has lost his life and 357 others were infected in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, there is a total of 6,438 active patients in the entire country, 136 of whom have been hospitalized and 14 are exhibiting serious symptoms.
The Ministry of Health has continued calling on citizens to get their vaccines as soon as possible.
Each citizen over 16, can get their anti-COVID vaccine in Albania. Vaccination is also open to children over the age of 12 that suffer from auto-immune diseases and have a doctor’s recommendation.
Meanwhile, booster shots are being administered to citizens over the age of 18 that have been fully vaccinated in the last 6 months.
In the past 24 hours, 469 citizens have recovered, bringing the total number of known recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic in our country to 191,855.
