Although the number of new infections has dropped, mortalities continue to pose a concern.

In the last 24 hours, there has been a total of 5 deaths related to COVID-19 and 172 new cases.

At the moment, there are 6.359 active patients nationwide, the majority of whom are concentrated in the capital.

Meanwhile, 145 patients are receiving specialized treatment in one of the COVID-designated hospitals in the country, 13 of whom have exhibited serious forms of the virus.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Albania, there has been a total of 3.115 victims and over 200 thousand positive cases.
