Albanian town halls are set to receive €4.1 million from the government to pay off unpaid bills.
The Ministry of Finance reviewed requests made by mayors and shared the sum depending on the debt in every municipality.
Kavaja, Tirana and Vlora will take the bigger chunk of the amount to pay off for investments, lawsuits, and maintenance.
However, the fund is insufficient as the municipalities have a total debt of €60 million.
