PM Edi Rama extended his wishes on December 8 – the National Youth Day, in Albania – through a video posted on his official Facebook page.
After sharing footage of youth in downtown Tirana, Rama pointed out that Albania’s capital will be the European Capital of Youth in 2022 – an award presented by the European Youth Forum each year.
On the other hand, December 8, 2021, has found the Democratic Party more divided than ever. Each year, on National Youth Day, Democrats celebrate and commemorate their history and impact on Albania’s political pluralism since the fall of the communist regime, but this year, the day finds them divided into 2 separate groupings.
DP chair, Lulzim Basha has announced that he will be holding a meeting at ArTurbina at 11:00 a.m., whereas Sali Berisha announced that at 12:00 p.m., he will be paying homage at the statue of Azem Hajdari in the Student City.
