Analyst Andi Bushati described the current leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha as a product of his predecessor’s autocracy.

“He is the clay pot shaped by the hands of the autocrats”, Bushati said.

Some of the indicators pointed by the analyst were the way in which Basha made his entrance in the political sphere, how he took over DP’s chairmanship and managed to retain the post, despite losing several times at the polls.

“From the time he entered politics, to the way he defeated Rama in the mayoral elections, to how he took the party’s leadership from Olldashi and how he managed to survive all his failures, these are all a product of Berisha’s autocratic mentality”.

For this reason, Andi Bushati said that a person who accuses Sali Berisha of autocracy, cannot ask to still taste the fruits of this autocracy.
