For Preç Zogaj, the Democratic Party will not “dissolve” and will return to power, thus ruling out a fatal disruption.
Zogaj, one of the founders of the Democratic Party, said that internal divisions have always existed within the DP, but not in such large proportions.
“What happened today is connected to what happened on September 9. Basha suspended Berisha, and the latter launched a movement, which in essence is a movement to sack Basha, as revenge”, said Zogaj.
The two separate DP assemblies, respectively on the 11 and 18, have nothing in common, said Zogaj.
He added that Basha was forced to ban Berisha when the US was insisting on it while questioning what would have happened if Basha would have ousted Berisha without any major pressure.
