Deputy PM Arben Ahmetaj has declared that the new reconstruction budget for 2021-2022 will be $350 million US dollars.

After his public appearance at the meeting of the Ministers Council, Ahmetaj said that this addition in the budget will speed up the process of reconstruction.

“The reconstruction budget will go from 28­-35 million dollars. This addition has been made in order to speed up the process of reconstruction so that all citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to the 2019 earthquake can move in to their new homes, and attend their new kindergartens, schools and public buildings,” – said Ahmetaj after the state meeting.

In addition, he emphasized that before the end of the year many families from Thumane, Durres, Kavaja, Rrogozhina, Lezha, Kurbin and Manze will be entering their new homes.
