Former PM Sali Berisha declared from Air Albania stadium that today’s National Assembly is a “monument of the reformation of the Democratic Party”.
“From this platform, we decide to re-establish the great political force of the DP, to turn it into the party of your noblest ideals, the party of conservative values, the party of national interest,” he said.
He added that Democrats aim to have a country where the rule of law prevails, and where all citizens are equal before the law.
“Let’s raise the DP as a conservative party to the pedestal it deserves, by facing the most dangerous mafia on the plant, with the mafia of the fiercest enemy of the national interests of the Albanians, George Soros “, said Berisha.”
The former PM also accused Basha of staying humble in front of Rama’s regime.
“A representative of the new generation came to lead the Democratic Party, who instead of empowering it did the opposite. He started leading the party by bowing, in violation of all laws in the constitution. He bowed in face of the Rama regime”, declared Berisha.
