Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani took a stance against the comments made by Serbia’s interior minister Aleksandar Vulin calling the Racak massacre a “big lie”.
President Osmani said that this indicates that the mentality of Milosevic’s regime persists.
“Crimes against humanity were what happened in Racak. This is a worldwide known and documented fact. Vulin’s tendencies show Serbia’s ambition to change history. These efforts are a continuation of the mentality of Milosevic’s regime, from which Vulin seems not to be able to detach himself. Denial of war facts through the rehabilitation of war criminals is a repeated crime”, said Osmani.
Kosovo’s president also emphasized that the truth on Racak is “more powerful than any propaganda coming from Vulin and other like-minded people”.
“They can make movies about it, but in Racak, as elsewhere in Kosovo, came into existence a reality that unfolded the goal of the Serbian state in exterminating the Albanian people in Kosovo”, concluded Osmani.
