This afternoon at 15:00, the Democratic Party will hold a meeting of its National Council.

After yesterday’s National Congress called by former party leader Sali Berisha, which voted for the termination of Lulzim Basha as current party leader, the latter has now called a meeting of DP’s National Council.

Today’s meeting of the National Council is expected to hold a vote on a special resolution that will propose a possible solution for the recent developments within DP.

Through a secret ballot, members will be voting for the termination of the National Council chair, the members of the leadership that violated the leadership’s final verdict on the National Congress as well as DP’s district leaders.

Today, Democrats will be voting on dismissing 4 secretaries:

ErvinMinarolli – Organizational Secretary

Ivi Kaso – Elections Secretary

Ledina Mandija – Owners Secretary

Belind Këlliçi – Diaspora Secretary

Another resolution will be presented during today’s meeting, which will revolve around the Democratic Party’s pro American and pro-NATO standing.
