Euronews Albania has learned new details regarding the case that made headlines of police officer Arber Sula murdering 29-year-old, Jurgen Duka, following a banal fight.
The cop, who was a serious crimes agent in Diber, is reported to have been a calm officer of the law, who was going to undergo random drug screening earlier today.
This process began a few weeks ago, amongst the ranks of State Police employees, as a result of which, dozens of officers have been laid off.
Sula is now on the run and law enforcement authorities have been conducting several unsuccessful searches in the area known as Sauk, in Tirana, which is where he had been residing for the past several years.
Sula shot in the direction of Jurgen Duka during a heated conflict in a convenience store in Rd. Irfan Tomini. A few hours after, the 29-year-old passed away after being escorted to the hospital.
The video shows moments from the fight, where several other people were present, one of whom even tried to deescalate the situation.
Euronews Albania got a hold of the exclusive photo showing moments after the cop entered the store in the capital city.
