11 new infections have been registered in Kosovo in the last 24 hours, after results came back on 1.958 suspected COVID tests, states the ministry of health.
The daily report also announced that another 11 citizens successfully recovered, whereas the total active case count in the entire country is currently 314.
In regards to vaccination, 2.413 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours.
So far, 774.547 citizens have been fully vaccinated in Kosovo, whereas 875.615 have only received one dose.
All citizens over the age of 12 can get their vaccine in Kosovo and they can choose between two companies, namely AstraZeneca and Pfizer/BioNTech – both approved by WHO and EMA.
Since December 9, healthcare authorities have started to distribute the third booster shots as well, to patients across the country.
