Greece introduced new travel measures to prevent a hike in new COVID-19 cases during the winter holidays.
All travelers will be required to show a negative PCR test taken no longer than 48 hours prior to departure, including here those who are fully vaccinated.
The measure will come into force on Sunday, 19 December at 6 AM.
Those who have stayed for less than 48 hours in a country before crossing to Greece will be exempt from the measure.
The new measures are part of the government’s increased efforts to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant during the holiday season.
