Justice Minister Ulsi Manja has discharged the General Director of Prisons, Agim Ismaili.
The reason behind the decision has not been revealed.
The Council of Minister appointed Admir Abrija as the new director-general.
Ismaili held the post since February 2019.
Before he has served as an executive at the National Food Authority.
