Democratic MP, Oriola Pampuri declared during ‘Now’ with Erla Mehilli that PM Rama’s term might not last 4 years, because there’s a strong chance that there may be non grata members within SP ranks.
The MP also noted that it is very problematic when members of a political party are found ‘persona no grata’.
“I can’t tell you an exact number…but with all these ‘personae non grata’ I can’t assure you that we’ll be in opposition for the full 4 years. A non-grata declaration hurts any individual let alone a political representative. It is serious. If a political party has a specific number of non grata members, it is chiefly serious for a political party and a political group,” – said Pampuri.
The Democratic MP also underlined that they don’t pin their hopes on the U.S. to declare these individuals non grata in SP but they will continue to offer a strong opposition in Parliament and on the ground.
“We have been on the ground non-stop by denouncing small corruptive affairs all the way to gigantic corruptive affairs,” – she added.
