The ministry of health has announced that an additional 168 new cases have been registered due to COVID-19, out of a total of suspected 2.241 tests.
There are currently 5.159 active cases nationwide, 121 of whom have been admitted to hospital and 19 are exhibiting more serious forms of the virus.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country, a total of 3.201 citizens have lost their lives.
Health authorities continue their calls to citizens to get vaccinated.
Vaccination is also open to children over the age of 12, who suffer from autoimmune diseases and have a doctor’s recommendation.
Meanwhile, adults over the age of 18 are eligible to get their third booster shots, if it’s been at least 6 months since they received their second dose.
