Former DP leader, Sali Berisha has announced that he will stage a national protest on January 8.

“Not a bunker of hostages but the home of Democrats,” was written in a poster that was attached in the announcement of the protest that is set to take place at 21:00 p.m. in front of the current headquarters of the Democratic Party.

This announcement was followed by a reaction of the Democratic Party, saying that ‘we won’t be open to drug traffickers that follow Sali Berisha around in his premeditated attacks”.

“The overwhelming majority of the members of the Party’s Leadership, National Council and its 5.004 delegates, chose the future on December 18; they chose to serve the interest of all Democrats, and they chose to serve the interest of Albania,” – stated in DP’s official reaction.

According to them, DP’s doors are closed to those “who have kept it hostage all these years, in order to hide their dirty affairs’.
