In a press statement from the Democratic Party’s headquarters, DP’s chair, Lulzim Basha commented on yesterday’s clash between the ‘two poles’ of Democratic supporters, which was only dispersed by the intervention of the state police.
DP’s chair said that Sali Berisha has manipulated Democrats who followed him in yesterday’s protest while emphasizing that PM Rama is the only beneficiary in this entire altercation.
“The only beneficiary of this 4-month game led by Sali Berisha is, as we’ve said, Edi Rama,” – said Basha.
Meanwhile, around 2 hours before Basha’s public appearance, former PM Sali Berisha made a statement of his own in front of DP’s headquarters, during which he said that “nothing will be able to stop the reign of the majority’s willpower and the consolidation of political pluralism in Albania”.
