793 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday after conducting nearly 5,000 tests. More than half of the new cases were detected in the Albanian capital, Tirana.
Currently, there are an estimated 13,786 active cases across the country, of which 129 are being treated at the hospital.
The country reported one death from COVID-19, a 77-year old woman from Tirana, taking the official death toll to 3,241.
More than 220,480 have contracted the virus since the beginning of the outbreak in Albania.
