The Court decided to release 28 protesters on recognizance, requiring them to sign a written promise to appear in court as required, as well as release on bail another 6.

Earlier during the day, prosecutors sought to release on their own recognizance 29 of the detained, and house arrest for 5 of them.

Democrat MPs and supporters attended the hearing that began around 10 AM.

The State Police arrested 34 protesters after violent clashes erupted at the protest organized by one of the founders of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

Sources confirmed that among the detained were several citizens from Kosovo and North Macedonia.
