The new government of North Macedonia has become a cause for discontent amongst many former officials, who used to hold government positions.
The deputy incumbent PM for European matters, Nikola Dimitrov, said that certain political figures in North Macedonia are plotting to politically eliminate him due to his views on the current debate with Bulgaria.
According to him, SDSM and the new future PM, Dimitar Kovacevski, are trying to steer him away from influential positions, with the sole purpose of achieving a quick agreement with Bulgaria that will ultimately be harmful.
Dimitrov also said that he doesn’t trust the foreign minister, Bujar Osmani in this process.
On January 17, the government led by Kovacevski will begin work after being sworn into power.
