Kosovo’s health ministry announced during its daily brief that 728 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
According to an official tally, 2,994 people have died from the virus in the country of some 1.93 million, although no deaths were reported today.
In addition, 158,750 citizens have won the battle against the coronavirus. The number of active cases remains lower compared to its neighbor Albania, estimated at around 5,118.
Kosovo ranks second among Western Balkan countries in terms of vaccinations having administered 1.717.379 vaccine doses, while 796.246 citizens are fully vaccinated.
