COVID-19 claimed the lives of 5 citizens on Sunday, while another 939 tested positive.
Recoveries climbed to 234,181, which is 1,825 more than yesterday.
According to official data, there are 20,498 active infections across Albania. Of these, some 9,100 are in Tirana.
The Ministry of Health appealed to citizens to get vaccinated and respect the measures in force in order to flatten the curve.
In Albania, everyone older than 16 is entitled to the jab at the nearest vaccine walk-in clinic.
