COVID-19 claimed on Monday the lives of 3 citizens in Kosovo, while another 1,593 tested positive.
Kosovo’s health ministry announced that 2,433 had recovered in the last day, taking the total figure to more than 168,710.
Kosovo has administered 1.777.085 vaccine doses, while 805,226 citizens are fully jabbed.
The Western Balkan country saw its daily case count skyrocket in the past weeks, prompting the government to impose new measures that entered into force on January 22.
Currently, Kosovo has over 34,200 active cases across the country, but the majority are in the municipality of Prishtina.
