DP’s district branches in Shkoder and Lushnje have published their proposals for the mayoral race set to take place on March 6.
DP’s branch in Lushnje has nominated Indrit Sefa, a lawyer currently working as Secretary at DP’s Legal Office.
In addition, the Democratic Party branch in Shkoder, has nominated Xhemal Bushati, the former head of Shkodra’s municipal council.
According to procedures followed so far by DP, the candidate is initially proposed by the party’s leadership and is then certified by the National Council.
On February 1, DP’s branch in Durres nominated Luan Hoti, whereas Ferdinad Saraci was nominated in Rrogozhina.
Democratic nominees in Diber and Vore have yet to be announced.
