The majority of Albanians believe that the incinerator concessions are part of a larger corruption scandal. These findings were retrieved from the latest Barometer Poll conducted by Euronews Albania in collaboration with MRB and Data Centrum.
64.3% of participants in the survey said that they believe this case to involve corrupt politicians and abuse of power.
In addition, 1 in 5 Albanians (19,4%) believe that even though the law was clearly broken due to violations with the tender race, the opposition is exaggerating the facts.
Even Socialist voters believe that the incinerators’ tender involved instances of abuse of power.

Around 1 in 2 respondents (45%) believe that this tender involved corruption, whereas 74% are convinced the law was broken.
Results were retrieved through 1.000 in-person household conversations conducted on a national scale from January 13-24, 2022.
