Starting from Saturday, it will be much easier to travel to Kosovo, as the country has just lifted several major entry requirements. From now on, even citizens that haven’t gotten all 3 vaccines can enter Kosovo provided that they show proof of a negative test, taken no longer than 48 hours before their arrival date.

Exempt from the new rules is everyone who enters Kosovo by air or land and is only planning to stay in the country for less than 3 hours, under the condition that they sign a declaration at the border, which clearly states that they will be leaving the country within that time limit. In addition, these types of travelers should also make sure that the point of entry into Kosovo is different from the point of exit.

In addition, starting from February 7, several travel restrictions will also be lifted for all travelers who wish to go to Greece.

In order to enter Greece, by air or land, one should only show proof of vaccination, but will no longer need to take a rapid test upon arrival.

Italy on the other hand will be extending its current measures through to March 31, 2022.

Albanian citizens who aren’t residents in Italy can cross the border only for essential travel like work, emergencies, health, or studies. Upon arrival, they must show proof of a negative test and self-isolate for a period of 10 days while in Italy.
