Seven people died from COVID-19 in Albania on Wednesday, while another 361 tested positive.
From the beginning of the pandemic, more than 269,300 citizens have been diagnosed with the virus, of which some 259,065 have now recovered.
Currently, Albania counts over 6,800 active coronavirus cases with the Omicron variant predominant across the country.
92 patients are being treated at the hospital.
The official death toll from the virus is 3,430.
