Albania’s current COVID-19 measures will be lifted in March, declared the chief of the National Emergency Department, Dr. Skender Brataj.
Dr. Brataj referred to the actual 11 PM curfew but added that vaccine passports will still be required.
“The beginning of March will be decisive in examining the epidemiological situation. Measures will begin to get lifted within the month. The people are mainly concerned about the curfew”, said Dr. Brataj.
Albania recorded 279 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, as well as 2 deaths.
The official death toll in the country has reached 3,453.
