The leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha wants Albania to pick and maintained a clear side over the latest attack on Ukraine.
“We condemn Putin’s aggression on behalf of the Albanian opposition. We have a moral duty with our NATO allies and toward a country that woke up by Russian aggression. We call for a swift and determined stance against this aggression from the UN, NATO and EU” said Basha from the parliament’s podium.

The speaker of the assembly Lindita Nikolla intervened immediately to tell Basha that Albania sides with NATO and all allies.
“The Albanian people have turned their attention toward Ukraine and its people”, she said.
