The chair of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, Mimi Kodheli, declared that Albania condemns Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
“Russia’s invasion of Ukraine means that the former wants to impose to the world the principle that the strongest is always right. This is absolutely unacceptable. Albania denounces Russia’s attack on Ukraine, as well as the Belarus government for allowing this attack. Albania supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, Kodheli said.
She also emphasized that Albania is on the side of the people of Ukraine and their president.
“Our thoughts go with the families of the victims and the wounded. We strongly condemn Russia’s decision to recognize the separatist region in Eastern Ukraine and call on Moscow to refrain from violence and aggression”, she concluded.
