SP’s candidate for mayor in Durres, Emiriana Sako, has just declared her victory marking that 5th municipality out of the total 6 participating in Albania’s 2022 local by-elections.
Durres was one of the municipalities running in this by-election race, due to the fact that its previous mayor who was elected back in 2019 – Valbona Sako – presented her resignation last year.
